A digital welcome book designed in Switzerland

HerePicks is an independent project started by Rafael, who lives in Switzerland. No parent company abroad, no sales team: the product is designed, built and maintained here, and Rafael answers your messages himself. The story behind the project explains where the idea came from.

The service is published by a private individual resident in Switzerland, and its terms of use are governed by Swiss law. The details are in the legal notice.

In Switzerland, the same flat can host a family from Zurich, a couple from Lausanne, friends from Ticino and visitors from much further away, all in one week. The HerePicks guide interface is available in English, French, German and Italian, and each guest sees it in their phone's language.

You write your descriptions and tips in your own language; HerePicks translates them automatically into the other three. Guests can also switch language themselves at the top of the guide.

Prices are shown in CHF or EUR, whichever you prefer: free for the Discovery plan, a monthly or annual subscription with no commitment for the Host and Pro plans (up to five properties). Beyond that, the Agency plan is quoted on request. Everything is on the pricing page.

A lakeside terrace is no use in January, and the mountain hut café is shut in November. Any recommendation can be hidden and shown again later without deleting it, so your guide follows the season without being rebuilt.

On the Host plan you can also prepare several guides for the same property, such as a summer guide and a winter guide, each with its own link and QR code.

Guests don't create an account or install an app: they open the guide in their browser. Guides use no advertising cookies, and the statistics you see (guides opened, places viewed, directions started) are anonymous: they aren't linked to any person.

The site runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure, and payments go through Stripe. The privacy policy explains what is collected and why.
