Campsites

The digital welcome book for your campsite

At a campsite, questions are rarely about the pitch: they're about the surroundings. Where to buy bread, which walk suits children, where to eat when it rains. HerePicks gathers your answers in a guide that campers open with a scan, at reception or at the shower block.

What campers actually ask

  • The practical: bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, petrol station, launderette.
  • Walks and nature around the site, with travel times.
  • Restaurants and snack bars, including for rainy evenings.
  • Family outings and things to see nearby.

HerePicks comes with ready-made categories (Restaurants, Cafés and bars, Things to do, Sights and culture, Shopping, Nature, Practical), and each place can be marked as child-friendly or wheelchair accessible.

Distances that make sense to campers

For every place, HerePicks works out the walking and driving time from your campsite. Campers see places on a map, show the nearest ones with "Near me", and start directions with one tap.

A QR code where people stop

Reception isn't always open, and campers don't always pass by it. Put the QR code where people stop: the notice board, the shower block (the round sticker fits on a mirror), the snack bar, the washing-up area. The folded A4 table tent stands up on any counter.

An international crowd

The guide appears in English, French, German or Italian depending on the camper's phone, and your descriptions are translated automatically. For a campsite welcoming families from several countries, that's a lot fewer questions at reception.

Through the season, without rebuilding the guide

The snack bar closes in September, the market only runs in summer: hide a place out of season and show it again in spring, without deleting it. The link and QR code stay the same.

Frequently asked questions

Do campers need to download an app?

No. The guide opens in the phone's browser after scanning the QR code, with no account and nothing to install.

Does the guide work without signal?

No, it needs an internet connection to open. If signal is weak on some pitches, display the QR code where wifi or mobile data works well, at reception for example.

Can the QR code be printed large?

Yes: besides the A5 card, table tent and sticker, HerePicks offers an A4 card for a notice board or door. The QR code alone can also be downloaded as SVG, a format that scales without losing quality.

Can I highlight places for families?

Yes, in two ways: by marking places as child-friendly, or, on the Host plan, by creating a separate family guide with its own QR code.

Which plan suits a campsite?

The free Discovery plan allows 10 recommendations to try it out. The Host plan removes the limit and adds your logo, colours and statistics. For several campsites, the Pro plan covers up to five.
